Accessibility statement

Green Flow is committed to making www.greenflow.ie and its online shop accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, in line with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and the European Union (Accessibility Requirements of Products and Services) Regulations 2023 (S.I. No. 636/2023). We use EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 level AA as our reference standard.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform.

What we have addressed

"Skip to main content" link with a working target on every page
All images carry alternative text; all form fields have associated labels
The menu button communicates its expanded/collapsed state to assistive technology
Secondary text contrast raised to at least 4.5:1
Dialogs use the dialog role with an accessible name and focus management
Interface labels are provided in the language of the page
Embedded video loads only on explicit user request

Known limitations

Checkout is operated on a third-party platform (Shopify) over which we have limited control of the interface
Some older blog articles have not yet been fully reviewed for accessibility
No external audit or full screen-reader testing has been carried out to date

We intend to address these limitations during 2026.
