Weekend home closed for a week.
P-trap in the basement is dry.
Friday: it stinks.

The owner of a vacation home or apartment knows the scenario. He opens up for the weekend, everything's clean. He returns two weeks later—a stench in the basement, bathroom, and garage. P-traps dry out during the owner's absence. Green Drain™ is a solution you install once and forget for five years.

Problem & solution

Classic household problem

A vacation home on an island, an apartment for rent in Split, a basement apartment, a garage with a floor drain — everyone knows the smell that greets them when they return.

Without Green Drain™

  • Basement drains rarely get wet — they stay dry for weeks.
  • Apartments on Booking/Airbnb — guests complain about 'that smell'
  • Shower stalls in houses — P-traps with insufficient depth drain quickly.

  • Weekend homes that are closed in winter — the entire house stays dry for 6 months

With Green Drain™

  • DIY installation — no professional needed
  • Chemical-free P-trap flushing — eco-friendly
  • Quiet in operation — no P-trap clacking
  • Resistant to household cleaning agents
  • Apartments for rent — no negative reviews regarding the smell
Irish residential & short-let

Private rental is structurally large

Ireland has a substantial self-catering and short-let estate, alongside a deep stock of holiday homes along the Wild Atlantic Way, Ancient East and Greater Dublin commuter belt. Hosts on Booking, Airbnb and Vrbo deal with the same seasonal pattern — properties closed mid-week or mid-season, P-traps dried out, and a one-star fragrance review on day-one of reopening.

Model Recommendation

Recommendation per to the object type.

Irish residential stock: pre-1963 Georgian and Victorian terraces, 1970s–1990s housing estates, modern A-rated builds, Dublin and Cork apartment blocks, holiday-home and Airbnb / short-let portfolios. Different construction eras mean a wide P-trap mix — from DN32 shower-channel drains to DN100 garage and utility-room floor drains. Homeowners measure the drain before ordering; we ship next-business-day.
